then Noah....Genesis 6:5-8...but Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD....why???? verse 9 has the answer....Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God. {walked instead of talked? Does that mean he listened?}
On our drive from Knoxville to the Applewood Restaurant....watching the sun gleaming on the snow....we rounded a curve in the road and I noticed the hillside. Grant stopped the car for George to snap a couple of pictures of a most magnificent tree on this snow covered hill. Beneath the tree were numerous grave stones poking out of the snow. Gentle reminders to make every day count. If this is such a beautiful sight....can you imagine what is in store for us who love God? 1 Corinthians 2:9 " No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
